“local” means something different to almost every vendor you talk to. Is is local to be grown in your state? What about the county of the farmers market? What about 100 miles? What if that 100 miles consists of three state lines intersecting? Join us in a discussion of what local means to a variety of markets. In later podcasts we will be discussion the idea of local not being a good thing for our communities but in this podcast we are going to define the terms and give examples of what some markets consider “local”
